· Saturday, January 8th - Gregg Allman Band Plays UPAC
o Gregg Allman, the lead singer/songwriter/organist/founding member of the Allman Brothers Band, brings his band to the Ulster Performing Arts Center, 601 Broadway, Kingston NY. This will be the first appearance at UPAC for Allman and his band. Known for songs such as "Midnight Rider" and "Whipping Post," Gregg's distinctive singing and songwriting has earned him a place in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as well as a listing among the "100 Greatest Singers of All Time" by Rolling Stone Magazine.
o NYCA Repertory & Theatre Company present Bat Boy the Musical - A Pop/Rock Musical based on the famous tabloid story of the Notorious Bat Boy. Tickets $18; Students and Seniors $15. NYCA Cabaret Theatre, 120 Schildknecht Rd, Hurley, NY.

o Dave Ruch, performer and teaching artist, presents old-time ballads and songs handed down from generation to generation at Saugerties Historical Society's Kiersted House, 119 Main St, Saugerties NY 12477. The concert is free. Ruch tells the stories behind, the songs of real-life “Yorkers” from days gone by - - farmers, lumbermen, children, lake sailors, canallers and more - - collected through considerable research and interpreted for all to enjoy with guitar, 5-string banjo, jaw harp and more!

o Part of a Winter/Spring music series hosted by The Trail Mix Music Festival, a not-for-profit organization 50x(c)(3) whose mission is to present an annual program and year-round schedule of world-class music and art-related activities promoting artists, culture, inspired learning and diversity in the central Catskills.
