Bounty of the Hudson Wine Festival is one of the “musts” of the Hudson Valley summer circuit! Festival hours this upcoming Saturday and Sunday are from 12 noon to 5pm! Advance tickets are 27 dollars and the designated drive price is $5.40 and includes entrance into the festival. Ticket prices the day of the festival are $38 and the designated driver’s ticket is $8.

            This festival allows you to taste all the wines from every winery on the Shawangunk wine trail! Not only will there be wine, but there will be many dishes and menu items from local restaurants! There will be farm fresh and delicious produce for you to taste and purchase as well!

            And like all events in the Hudson Valley, there will be live music! So come enjoy

Rosendale Street Festival

rosenale_street_festival_955There are so many events in Ulster County in the summer, it can be overwhelming to try and pick and choose events to go to. One event that is a must is coming up on July 23rd; it is the Rosendale Street Festival!

It is only 80 minutes from New York City. And, it is one of the finniest and best events in Ulster! Another bonus is admission is completely free. But, if you donate twenty dollars or more you will get a free t-shirt! All the proceeds go to help local community organizations! The parking is also free, but plan it out, the festival gets very crowded. Additionally there is some construction going on in the area, so that will make parking difficult it really is a win-win, you get to have tons of fun and you get to help
